CROTON'S SUMMER OF 1966, PART ONE, BY SPECIAL REQUEST

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

With the Everything Croton Summer of 1972 series concluded, we had a special request for THE SUMMER OF 1966--and so, thanks to the outstanding archives maintained by the volunteers of The Croton Historical Society, we present Part 1. Click on the images below. See part 2 here http://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2014/06/part-two-more-croton-summer-of-1966.html

  1. It really is a shame we don't do these fire department bazaars any more. Everyone was very involved in making them the best events possible. Stores had special discounts and give aways during the week, and they instilled a real community pride.
